Vintage Crown Trifari Pat Pend Blue Fruit Salad Flora Leaf Fur Clip Alfred Philippe

Striking vintage Crown Trifari fur clip dating to approximately the early 1940s and associated with the Alfred Philippe design era.

This dimensional design resembles a gracefully curved basket or cornucopia overflowing with carved blue faux-moonstone glass flowers, leaves, and fruit. The gold-tone setting is accented with clear rhinestones along the curved rim and scattered rhinestones across the body.

The reverse is signed with the Crown Trifari mark, and the curved clip mechanism is marked “PAT. PEND.” The double-prong fur clip mechanism functions properly and retains good tension.

Condition: This piece is being offered in as-found vintage condition. Numerous rhinestones are missing from both the curved border and the gold-tone body. Remaining rhinestones show age-related darkening, and the setting has surface wear, scratches, discoloration, and plating loss. The molded blue glass elements appear intact, with possible minor surface wear consistent with age.
