Crown Trifari Alfred Philippe 1949 PAT PEND Fleur de Lis Feather Brooch

Stunning vintage Crown Trifari brooch designed during the celebrated Alfred Philippe era, dating to circa 1949.

This beautifully sculptural brooch features three dramatic curling plumes or stylized leaves arranged in a fleur-de-lis-like design. The sweeping gold-tone forms are accented with sparkling clear rectangular baguette rhinestones and round clear rhinestones, all gathered at the base with a dimensional ribbon motif.

The combination of architectural baguettes, graceful curves and dimensional metalwork is quintessential early Crown Trifari and beautifully demonstrates the sophisticated designs produced during Alfred Philippe’s tenure with the company.

This design is associated with an Alfred Philippe Trifari design patent from 1949 and is sometimes described as a three-feather, plume, leaf or fleur-de-lis motif.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with expected age-related wear and patina to the gold-tone finish. The clear baguette and round rhinestones remain beautifully reflective and appear present.
